Ray-Ban Meta countries: where the glasses are sold and where Meta AI works

Ray-Ban's FAQs name 15 to 18 countries where it sells Ray-Ban Meta, and Meta's help center names 17 where its AI glasses are supported. Here is every country named so far, the 11 markets due later this year and which Meta AI features are limited to the US.

Part of our Ray-Ban Meta guide

Ray-Ban Meta glasses are sold in about two dozen countries, but no single official list names them all. Ray-Ban's US FAQ lists 15 countries, its India store FAQ lists 18, and Meta's help center lists 17 where its AI glasses are "currently available and supported." Add Meta's own launches in Singapore, Japan and South Korea and the sources name 23. Meta says Ray-Ban Meta reaches 11 more markets later this year.

This guide is based on Ray-Ban's FAQs and safety guide, Meta's announcements and our guides to Meta AI and warranty terms. Lists change, so check the seller before you buy. We haven't tested the glasses.

Where Ray-Ban Meta is sold

The lists differ because they answer different questions. Ray-Ban's FAQs name the countries where it sells the glasses and add that they are "also available in select markets via the Meta website." Meta's list covers the countries where it supports its AI glasses.

The US list comes from an archived copy of Ray-Ban's FAQ dated Nov. 14, 2025, and the India list from the page as it stood on Oct. 25, 2026. The India list names India twice, so it comes to 18 countries. Meta launched Gen 2 in India on Dec. 1, 2025, at INR 39,900. Meta's help-center list trails its own announcements. It leaves out Singapore, where Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta launched in April, as well as Japan and South Korea, where launches followed in May. Our complete Ray-Ban Meta guide covers every model.

The latest expansions

On Sept. 23, Meta said Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Meta Optics "will be available in these new markets later this year: Turkey, Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia, and the Philippines." The footnote in Meta's announcement gives no dates for individual countries.

The same announcement put Meta Glasses, Meta's own line, in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates that day, with Brazil listed as coming soon. Our Meta Glasses guide covers that line. At Connect, Meta also said it is expanding Meta Ray-Ban Display to the UK, Canada, France, Italy and Germany and adding online ordering, as Meta's Connect recap puts it. Our Display release dates guide tracks those.

Where Meta AI works

Meta's help center lists 17 countries where its AI glasses are "currently available and supported": the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Within those countries, what you get depends on the language you set and on the feature. Our Meta AI guide has the full rundown.

Meta AI on glasses can be set to 13 languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain) and Telugu. Eighteen more work through Meta's partners with limits. They need Wi-Fi, they may not support calling, messaging or sharing from the glasses, live AI or a choice of voices, and questions about what you see can take longer. To change the language, open the Meta AI app and go to Device settings, Meta AI, then Language and voice. Ray-Ban's older paperwork is out of date on this point: the 2023 edition of its safety guide says "Vocal assistant available only in English, French and Italian."

Meta's translation pages name languages and don't mention countries. The 20 are English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Swedish, Finnish, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Turkish, Greek and Dutch. Our live translation guide explains the offline packs. To see what your own pair supports, open the Meta AI app, tap Glasses, then Device settings, and scroll to Experiences.

Buying abroad: warranty and returns

The warranty term depends on where you buy. Ray-Ban's terms give one year from purchase and add: "However, if you purchase the Product from within the EU or EFTA, the Limited Warranty Period shall be two (2) years." Meta Warranty Plus, the optional extended plan, is sold only in the US. Our warranty guide covers how to file a claim.

The terms also say "This Warranty applies only to those countries to which Luxottica ships and supports," and point to ray-ban.com for the list. They require proof of purchase that shows the date, and the warranty isn't available for glasses bought from anyone other than Luxottica or an authorized dealer. Meta says the Ray-Ban After Sales Portal works only in certain countries and tells owners elsewhere to use their local Ray-Ban website. Before you buy a pair abroad, ask Ray-Ban's customer care whether the site for your home country will support it.

Other policies vary by country too. Ray-Ban's India FAQ says the glasses "are not eligible for return in India due to regional policies and product-specific terms," and that prescription lenses there are available only through select certified offline retailers. The safety guide has a separate section for Australian consumers, where the warranty is offered by Luxottica Retail Australia. In the US, return windows are 30 days from delivery at the Meta Store and 45 days at Ray-Ban.com. Prices differ as well: Gen 3 is $449 in the US and €449 in Meta's Spanish store, and our price guide has the rest.

The Meta AI app is also available in some countries where the glasses aren't sold. Ray-Ban's FAQ notes that "Different terms of service may apply."

Using the glasses while traveling

  • Check Experiences in the Meta AI app before you go, because features differ by country and language.
  • Download live translation language packs at home. Meta's own advice is that translation "works best online," with the packs as a backup for patchy coverage.
  • Pack the glasses in carry-on luggage. Ray-Ban's safety guide says they contain lithium-ion batteries and "should not be placed in checked-in luggage," and tells owners to check aviation security restrictions on personal electronics.
  • Bring a USB-C cable and a power adapter that fits local outlets, because the case doesn't include a cable.
  • Learn the local recording rules. Meta's terms make you responsible for following them, and some places restrict camera glasses outright. Our privacy guide has examples.

Frequently asked questions

Which countries can you buy Ray-Ban Meta glasses in?

Ray-Ban's US FAQ lists the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia. Its India store adds Mexico, India and the UAE, Meta's help center adds the Netherlands and Switzerland, and Meta launched Singapore, Japan and South Korea this spring.

Does Meta AI work in my country?

It depends on your country and language. Meta's help center lists 17 supported countries, and Meta AI can be set to 13 languages on the glasses, with 18 more through partners. Meta's list trails its launches in Singapore, Japan and South Korea, so check Experiences in the Meta AI app under Glasses, Device settings.

Can I use Ray-Ban Meta glasses I bought in the US while traveling in Europe?

Meta notes that some AI features are limited to certain countries and languages, and Ray-Ban's warranty applies only in countries it ships to and supports. The term is one year for US purchases and two years for EU and EFTA ones. Check Experiences in the app and Ray-Ban's country list before you travel or buy abroad.

Does live translation work in every country?

Meta's translation pages name languages and don't mention countries. Twenty languages work when the glasses are connected, and six of them (English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German) also work offline after you download language packs, except on Ray-Ban Meta Audio. Our live translation guide has the setup steps.

Are Muse and hearing enhancement available outside the US?

Neither is on the glasses yet. EssilorLuxottica says Muse will be US-only on the glasses, and Meta's announcement names only the US for hearing enhancement, which launches later this year at $149.99 or with a Meta One subscription.
