Part of our Ray-Ban Meta guide

Current Ray-Ban Meta glasses cost between $349 and $579 in the US before prescription lenses. On Ray-Ban.com, a Gen 3 Wayfarer with sun or clear lenses is $449, Gen 2 starts at $379, the camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio is $349, and the last first-generation pairs are on clearance from $224.

The prices below are what Ray-Ban's US store listed on Oct. 25, 2026, checked against the starting prices in Meta's announcements. They can change, and Ray-Ban was running a promotion on prescription lenses that day.

The pattern is consistent. On the Gen 3 Wayfarer and Gen 3 Aviator, polarized lenses add $30 and Transitions lenses add $80. Transitions add the same $80 to the Audio Clubmaster, and a Transitions Skyler costs $459, $80 above Gen 2's starting price.

That's why the Aviator and Zena can look more expensive at first glance: Ray-Ban's US category page lists them with Transitions lenses. The $579 Aviator, in Milky Beige with brown Transitions lenses, is a limited edition for the Aviator's 90th anniversary.

The Optics listings are frames meant for prescription wearers. Ray-Ban sells them with demo lenses that are replaced by your prescription lenses when you order, which is why the frame price is only part of the total.

What prescription lenses add

Prescription lenses are priced separately. These are the list prices Ray-Ban's lens configurator showed for a Gen 3 Wayfarer Optics frame on Oct. 25:

Lens typeSingle visionProgressive
Clear$225$405
Ray-Ban Blue light Ease$305$485
Sun (polarized options available)$370$560
Transitions$420$600

With the $449 frame, a clear single-vision pair comes to $674 at list prices, and a Transitions progressive pair to $1,049. On Oct. 25 a promotion cut those lens prices by 46% at checkout, so check for current offers before you buy. Ray-Ban's site also lets you apply insurance benefits at checkout for prescription eyewear. Our prescription guide covers ranges, lens types and how to order.

Prices outside the US

Prices vary by country. Meta's store in Spain listed these on Oct. 25:

  • Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3): from €449, and €529 for a Zena with Transitions
  • Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2): from €419, and €499 for a Headliner with Transitions
  • Ray-Ban Meta Audio: from €349
  • Blayzer and Scriber Optics (Gen 2): €469
  • Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 1): from €247

EssilorLuxottica's launch release for the Optics frames gave suggested entry prices of $499 and €469. In India, Meta launched Gen 2 on Dec. 1, 2025, at INR 39,900. Spare parts are priced locally too: Meta's Spanish store lists a replacement Gen 3 charging case at €109.

Protection plans

Two optional plans cover damage the standard warranty doesn't. The Ray-Ban Protection Plan costs $64.99 for Ray-Ban Meta and lasts one year and two weeks from purchase. It covers one replacement during that time for cracked or scratched lenses, cracked frames, breakdowns from normal wear and tear and manufacturing defects, with a $99.99 co-pay per claim for Ray-Ban Meta. You add it when you buy, online or in a store.

Meta sells Meta Warranty Plus for AI glasses bought in the US. Its terms don't list a fixed price; the cost is shown on your order confirmation. Our warranty guide compares what each plan covers.
